Job Description
Senior Associate Product Manager supporting pharmacy product strategy at McKesson, a healthcare services company. Improving pharmacy operations, patient medication access, and product adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Support senior product leadership in defining and prioritizing features, epics, and user stories for pharmacy network products
- Conduct industry and market research and contribute research insights
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and user experiences
- Participate in agile development processes, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Identify conflicting initiatives, escalate issues, and contribute to prioritization
- Assess product needs, monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and inform product iterations
- Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including internal training and external communication
- Create, maintain, and refine technical documentation, release notes, user guides, and process materials
- Translate complex technical concepts into accurate, accessible content for varied audiences
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned product areas and support sales, marketing, and customer success teams
- Participate in customer conversations to understand opportunities and contribute to MVP product recommendations
- Articulate delivered value and contribute to P&L and/or P&L decisions
- Contribute to the product roadmap and strategy, including value proposition development, for the Pharmacy Network Solutions portfolio
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration) or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in product management or a related role within the healthcare technology or pharmacy industry
- Basic understanding of pharmacy operations, prescription workflows, and the healthcare ecosystem
- Understanding of NCPDP Telecom Standard
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to product development cycles and work effectively with technical teams
- Ability to write, edit, and organize technical content, including product documentation, implementation materials, release communications, and knowledge base content
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with MadCap Flare or similar technical documentation authoring tools
