Job Description
Senior Product Manager owning Vault, the AI-powered sports media archive product at ScorePlay. Shaping roadmap, AI enrichment, search, rights and customer workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Own Vault end to end, including content ingestion, storage, customer-system connections, organization, AI enrichment and user workflows
- Identify ways for customers to derive more value from sports archives through licensing, resale, sponsorship activations and throwback moments
- Extend AI capabilities beyond face and logo recognition
- Improve metadata, search, rights and usage management for millions of assets
- Set and own the Vault product roadmap based on customer needs
- Conduct customer discovery with media directors
- Spend time on-site at events
- Participate in Sales and Customer Success discussions when customer issues arise
- Report to the Product Lead
- Collaborate with product, engineering, Sales and Customer Success teams
Requirements:
- Five or more years building software products
- Experience working in a small enough organization to own a product scope independently
- Technical depth in storage, ingest, integrations and models
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior engineers without necessarily writing production code
- Strong discovery and product judgment
- Ability to identify underlying customer pain points and turn customer conversations into prioritized product bets
- Experience using AI in product features and in research, specifications, prototypes and analysis
- Curiosity about sports media, rights, broadcast workflows and archives
- Media background is not required
