Job Description
Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional performing analysis, documentation, and translation of user requirements for healthcare organization. Involves problem solving and influencing departmental strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
- Formulate and define systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
- Devise or modify procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Validate benefits achieved from solution implementation.
- Influence department's strategy.
- Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
- Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of business systems analysis experience/technical experience in healthcare.
- Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
- Demonstrated experience with managing stakeholders, process documentation and re-engineering
- Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Agile Methodologies.
- Experience in problem analysis and process
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Agile certification (POPM, Scrum Master) (preferred)
- Six Sigma certification (preferred)
- Experience with AthenaOne EMR software (preferred)
