Job Description
Senior Commercial Counsel leading commercial contracting for technology product groups at Lyten. Advising on legal and commercial interests while supporting global operations and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial contracting function across all product groups, including batteries, concrete, composites, and sensors
- Serve as the primary advisor on contract risk, liability, indemnification, warranty, intellectual property, and termination provisions
- Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial contracts spanning supply, distribution, manufacturing, and vendor agreements
- Build out contract templates, playbooks, and workflows to drive continuous process improvement
- Support Lyten’s rapid growth and global operations working closely with Sales, Procurement, Product, and Engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum of seven years’ legal experience focused on commercial transactions in the technology sector
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills
- Practical approach to risk
- Ability to operate independently in a lean, fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting both U.S. and EU transactions
- Familiarity with export control and trade compliance
- Comfort with AI tools and contract lifecycle management platforms.
