Job Description
Sr. Contracts Manager responsible for overseeing contracts portfolio at Revolution Space. Involves proposals, negotiations, and compliance for aerospace and defense projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and evaluation of proposals, monitoring major contracts.
- Recommend and implement new solutions to achieve functional objectives.
- Be a critical asset in key negotiations and resolve multi-faceted and complex contractual/customer issues.
- Ensure compliance with Revolution Space policies and develop excellent customer relationships.
- Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
- Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues.
- Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities.
- Review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW) and advise program team on terms and conditions.
- Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks.
Requirements:
- BA degree plus 12 or more years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree or Juris Doctor degree plus 10 or more years of relevant experience.
- Candidate must have in depth knowledge of Government regulations (FAR / DFARS) and all contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), and General Service Administration (GSA) type contracts.
- Hands-on experience with Other Transaction (OT) efforts is also expected.
- Candidate should have commercial contracts experience on the selling side of contracts management.
- Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound business decisions.
- Handle multiple contractual activities with a short turn-around time.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to include well developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and mitigate contract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with Leidos policy and procedures.
