Job Description
Senior Project Manager managing U.S. high-end kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects for Wing’s global workforce platform. Coordinating procurement, construction, margins, clients, suppliers, and closeout remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Audit sold proposals, designs, allowances, selections, payment milestones, and client commitments
- Identify and resolve gaps, conflicts, exclusions, long-lead risks, and permit or licensed-trade requirements before scheduling
- Lead internal project reviews and measurement-preparation processes
- Coordinate measurement appointments and document field measurements, photos, drawings, site conditions, appliance specifications, and access constraints
- Build installation-ready scopes of work in Buildertrend
- Develop baseline schedules, critical paths, milestone dates, procurement plans, and client-facing Gantt charts
- Create material order lists and coordinate orders with approved U.S. suppliers
- Track acknowledgments, lead times, backorders, substitutions, freight, damages, shortages, and returns through resolution
- Coordinate with warehouse and field personnel to ensure materials are received, inspected, labeled, staged, and verified
- Maintain project cost analysis and escalate cost or margin variances
- Confirm installers/trade partners, labor costs, start dates, project duration, permits, materials, drawings, and site prerequisites
- Schedule and prepare pre-construction walks
- Coordinate cabinet, countertop, plumbing, electrical, gas, tile, glass, paint, and other work in the correct sequence
- Manage 10–20 active projects through daily review of Buildertrend logs, jobsite photos/videos, schedules, open decisions, material needs, and client commitments
- Communicate with clients, Field Supervisors, and installers by phone, text, and email
- Run project review meetings and maintain accountability for issues, owners, due dates, and next actions
- Provide proactive updates and reset expectations when project conditions change
- Coordinate resolution of field issues, unforeseen conditions, and change orders without authorizing unapproved scope or costs
- Protect sold scope and planned gross margin by controlling labor, materials, change orders, credits, reorders, and avoidable expedites
- Drive punch-list completion, client acceptance, final documentation, invoice review, warranty handoff, and collection milestones
- Complete Finished Project Cost Analysis and verify installer invoices against approved scope
- Close projects accurately in Buildertrend
- Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements that reduce cycle time and repeat defects
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on project management experience specifically with U.S.-based, high-end residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects
- Experience managing projects from sold handoff through procurement, construction, punch, and closeout
- Working knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing, electrical, gas, flooring, drywall, paint, appliances, shower systems, glass, and common remodeling sequencing and field risks
- Proven ability to manage 10–20 projects concurrently while maintaining details, deadlines, client commitments, and financial visibility
- Strong Buildertrend or comparable U.S. construction project-management software experience
- Ability to become highly proficient in Buildertrend quickly
- Advanced spreadsheet skills, including cost tracking, variance review, filters, lookups, and project-level reporting
- Excellent spoken and written English for communication with U.S. homeowners, installers, suppliers, and leadership
- Reliable high-speed internet, professional home workspace, dependable computer/headset, and backup plans for internet and power interruptions
- Ability to work a consistent schedule with substantial overlap during U.S. Eastern business hours
- Able to respond appropriately to time-sensitive project issues
- Strong ownership, accountability, attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
- Calm under pressure, direct, highly coachable, and comfortable holding teammates and trade partners accountable
