Job Description
Senior Director, Biostatistics at Gilead leading statistical analysis for biomedical data. Collaborating across teams for critical company initiatives in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:

- Leads initiatives to gather, organize, and analyze data from different sources
- Proven ability to pull together and lead highly effective cross-functional teams

- Proven ability to determine the functions most critical to company success
- Support priorities within functional area
- Able to set up and influence collaborations with external academic or government organizations
- Good understanding of the business beyond the area of Biostatistics
- Recognized authority outside of the company
- Use competitive intelligence to influence clinical development strategies
- Ensure the company meets its regulatory, scientific, and business objectives
Requirements:
- 12+ years of industry experience in the statistical analysis of biomedical data
- PhD degree in Biostatistics or equivalent
- Must have programming capability with statistical software packages in SAS or R
- Understanding SDTM/ADaM standards.
- Experience with Rheumatic diseases is preferred
- Experience in Inflammation
