Job Description
Senior Director leading Teladoc Health’s US virtual Mental Health practice operations. Managing teams, care delivery, patient experience, strategic growth, and financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage overall practice operations for the US Mental Health care delivery service line
- Lead Regional Practice Managers, Practice Coordinators, and care team staff
- Oversee daily operations of the virtual healthcare practice
- Lead and motivate care delivery operations teams to optimize performance
- Develop reporting and metric analysis to monitor performance and identify improvements
- Advance operational business design and improve patient products and services
- Co-develop and implement strategic plans for practice growth, financial health, and service quality
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff
- Provide leadership and support to clinical and non-clinical staff while ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations
- Develop and maintain appropriate policies
- Collaborate with Product and Training teams to educate providers and care teams on new processes and procedures
- Help manage the provider network, including W2 employees, 1099 contractors, and third-party MSO vendors
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction
- Address patient concerns and feedback
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Clinical Quality, Product & Engineering, Marketing / Sales, Analytics, Revenue Cycle, Legal & Compliance, Provider Relations, and Credentialing stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years of operational leadership in a multi-specialty practice in a clinic or ambulatory care setting required
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead change in a fast-paced growing organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment and meet deadlines under extreme pressure
- Well-organized and self-motivated with a high Say-Do ratio
- Ability to work well with others and interact effectively with staff, employees, managers, and physicians
- Ability to generate and summarize reports and documents
- Ability to work remotely, with the expectation to take call and travel
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Must successfully complete identity and credential verification, interviews, and fraud or misrepresentation screening
