Job Description

Engineering Manager leading mobile app team to enhance core architecture at PandaDoc. Focus on technical and team development for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Help to develop and maintain engineering processes, delivery, and collaboration among multiple engineering teams;
  • Manage the performance and growth of engineers in your teams;
  • Ensure the stability and reliability of the system no matter what;
  • Contribute to the technical architecture and solutions;
  • Partner with stakeholders to establish an environment for predictable delivery;
  • Help shape and translate the company and product priorities into a clear and actionable; engineering roadmap, balanced with tech debt and other engineering priorities;
  • Collaborate with a product team to align engineering with the product strategy and needs;
  • Recruit and build an engineering team;
  • Be a change agent for continuously transforming environments.

Requirements:

  • Over 8 years of engineering experience, including relevant experience in a management role;
  • Previously worked as a Software Engineer;
  • Proven experience owning and shaping complex application architecture, including mobile and web.
  • Hands-on background with React, React Native, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS/Android) and cross-platform frameworks / performance characteristics.
  • Experience building infrastructure or libraries used by multiple teams (e.g., shared UI components, navigation libraries, build tooling, testing frameworks).
  • Track record of improving developer experience (tooling, workflows, local dev environments).
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Previously worked in a product organization;
  • Experienced in managing delivery processes;
  • A self-starter who thrives in a rapidly changing business environment;
  • You are customer- and product-focused.
