Job Description

Senior Engineering Manager leading a team of frontend engineers at Contentsquare. Driving technical decisions and collaborating with Product Managers and Designers in Spain.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, grow, and retain a team of frontend engineers, setting a high bar for technical quality and engineering craft
  • Drive key technical decisions — from frontend architecture to cross-team dependencies — and roll up your sleeves when it matters
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to shape roadmaps, scope work, and deliver with confidence
  • Establish and improve engineering processes that keep the team moving fast without accumulating unmanageable tech debt
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering peers and stakeholders across EU and US timezones
  • Hire and develop talent, building a team culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Represent your teams clearly upward and across the organization, surfacing risks and opportunities early

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in a professional setting
  • Strong frontend engineering background with hands-on familiarity across the modern stack — React, Vue, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, and PostgreSQL
  • Full-stack exposure sufficient to reason about system-level dependencies and collaborate effectively with backend and infrastructure teams
  • Demonstrated ability to make and drive technical decisions — not just facilitate, but lead
  • Proven experience partnering with Product Management and Design to deliver end-to-end features and products
  • Based in France or Spain, with the ability to work comfortably across EU business hours
