Job Description
Senior Financial Implementation Consultant implementing financial solutions in healthcare with Workday expertise. Collaborating with teams for effective project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute and help maintain healthcare standard practices to reflect new industry requirements and trends.
- Determine customer requirements and design and build tailored Workday financial solutions
- Demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems and assist the customer in testing.
- Participate in updated training and other events that help share one’s product and industry skills with other consultants.
- Partner with the project management by providing status reports and keep them informed of overall project status.
- Participant in customer prospect discovery sessions
- Mentor less experienced consultants
Requirements:
- 5+ years of implementation or functional experience in Financial Management software solutions or systems such as Workday, Lawson, Oracle, or PeopleSoft
- 5+ years of consulting experience
- Experience with General Ledger along with one or more of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, Cash Management, and Capital Projects
- 7+ years of implementation or functional experience in Financial Management software solutions or systems such as Workday, Lawson, Oracle, or PeopleSoft
- 7+ years of consulting experience
- Experience with General Ledger along with one or more of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, Cash Management, and Capital Projects
- 5+ years of financial consulting experience with at least 3 full-cycle healthcare industry implementations OR 5+ years of financial or accounting operational experience in healthcare organizations.
- Passion for customer service and project management experience
- Experience leading the Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) and at least 1 other Workday financial area during a project deployment
- Ability to connect with all levels of customer/prospect leadership
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
- Passionate about using AI technology to improve efficiency and streamline deployments
- Experience with multiple financial applications
- Ability to balance multiple project engagements at a time
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - preferably in Finance or Accounting
- Ability to travel up to 50%
