Job Description
Senior Food Regulatory Manager in Product Development ensuring compliance for ESN & More Nutrition products. Collaborating on regulatory matters related to food and supplements.
Responsibilities:
- You assess the marketability and regulatory compliance of our products in the EU and the USA
- You review product descriptions and marketing copy for compliance with food law
- You collaborate during product conception, development and launch preparation with Product Management, R&D, Business Development, Marketing and Customer Support on food law–related matters
- You monitor changes in food legislation and derive appropriate measures for the affected departments
- You handle regulatory inquiries and official notices from authorities
- You manage product notifications
Requirements:
- You hold a degree in food chemistry, food technology, pharmacy or a related discipline
- You have 2–3 years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably in the food industry or a related field (e.g., pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements)
- You possess solid knowledge of relevant national and international regulations, guidelines and statutes (EU & USA) for food and dietary supplements
- You have strong skills in assessing product specifications and labeling, and basic knowledge of food ingredients
- You are communicative and a team player
- You work independently and in a structured manner and are highly self-organized
- You have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- You have excellent MS Office skills
