Job Description
Senior Instructional Developer creating software training and learning content for GDIT’s U.S. government, defense, and intelligence missions. Designing accessible instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support development of instructor-led and virtual learning content
- Collaborate with government agencies, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to gather requirements
- Build innovative training programs and content
- Plan, develop, manage, and evaluate in-person, online, and hybrid software training programs
- Use webinars, web-based training, in-person instructor-led training, user guides, and online help systems
- Design and develop engaging learning experiences for software implementation
- Support multiple GDIT contracts
- Ensure training and supporting documentation are converted into Section 508-compliant products
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- 5+ years of related experience
- Excellent understanding and application of all phases of the ADDIE process
- Knowledge and application of adult learning theory
- Working knowledge of Section 508 compliance
- Experience converting training and supporting documentation into Section 508-compliant products
- U.S. citizenship required; permanent residents are not eligible
- Must successfully achieve a full CBP Tier 4 background investigation before beginning work
- No clearance currently required
- NACI (T1) public trust/other requirement
- Less than 10% travel required
- Ability to work 40 scheduled hours weekly
