Job Description
Senior FP&A and Investor Relations Manager developing financial models and executive narratives. Supporting lenders, investors, and strategic decisions at a financial planning and investment advice firm.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives
- Analyze business drivers, profitability, growth trends, and enterprise performance
- Evaluate risks, opportunities, and potential business outcomes with Finance leadership
- Translate complex financial information into recommendations for executive decision-making
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes
- Prepare executive-ready presentations and financial communications
- Synthesize financial and operational results into actionable narratives
- Develop materials for Board meetings, lender presentations, Executive Leadership Team discussions, and other high-visibility forums
- Coordinate requests from lenders, ratings agencies, private equity sponsors, and other external stakeholders
- Prepare analyses, presentation materials, FAQs, and documentation for external meetings and diligence activities
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Accounting, and business leaders to gather, validate, and communicate information
- Manage project plans, communication timelines, and deliverables for lender processes, ratings reviews, and diligence processes
- Coordinate teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of key deliverables
- Improve modeling processes, reporting quality, communication effectiveness, workflows, and tools
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, Strategic Finance, Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, or a related discipline
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Understanding of the capital market landscape, specifically within the Private Equity and Direct Lending markets
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including experience preparing executive-level or Board-ready materials
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate complex analyses into clear business insights and executive narratives
- Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels
- Preferred: experience supporting lender relations, ratings agencies, debt financing activities, investor relations, or private equity sponsors
- Preferred: background in financial services, wealth management, asset management, consulting, investment banking, or strategic finance
- Preferred: familiarity with planning and reporting tools/languages such as Power BI, Anaplan, Hyperion, SQL, or similar systems
