Job Description
Manage supply chain strategies as a Sr. Manager for Raytheon, working remotely while driving operational excellence. Lead projects that ensure timely delivery and compliance across aerospace and defense sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategies, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution
- Support, review and assess request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages
- Implement key performance indicators internally and with our supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and ensure adherence to the plan.
- Work closely with Operations, Planning and Finance functions to optimize planning and supply chain cycle to meet development requirements
- Support and engage with various Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to resolve supply chain issues and serve as supply chain SME for other functional areas
- Lead projects to enhance Supply Chain performance and continuous improvement
- Support supply chain lead for internal and external audits regarding material and cost validations
- Sets objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of developmental results
- Explain policies, practices, and procedures and may influence others
- Problems faced are difficult and require consideration of multiple variables and courage to make risk-based decisions
- Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
Requirements:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience
- Experience with supply chain, vendor management, Risk Assessment/Mitigation and/or performance management
- ERP work experience, i.e., SAP
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
