Job Description
Program Director overseeing IT segment with accountability for policies, vendors, and budgets in a healthcare setting. Leading IT strategies and ensuring compliance while managing personnel performance under organizational policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leadership and/or technical oversight of an assigned Information Technology (IT) segment within the organization
- Creating and rolling out policies and procedures associated with assigned IT segment
- Act as point of contact and full accountability for high degree of redundancy and reliability of assigned IT segment
- Identifies best practices for service offerings of IT segment
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of departmental workflows
- Responsible for vendor management, including contract negotiations, invoice reconciliation, release updates, issues lists and new product evaluations
- Reviews work of lower level personnel to ensure satisfaction of service offerings
- Performs personnel review and evaluation function for salary administration, training and promotion
- Prepares periodic budget and adherence for the department
- Monitors compliance with Information Systems procedures and policies
- Presents issues and concerns to IT leadership along with potential solutions when appropriate
- Works with departmental and division management to develop and implement Information Technology strategies
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs, including productivity standards
- Develops and administers IT budget for responsible area
- Practices fiscally sound budget management to ensure spending is held to allocated funds
Requirements:
- Epic Bridges Certification (Highly Preferred)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)
- Minimum of 8 years-Relevant experience* (Required)
- Minimum of 2 years-Managing people, processes, or projects (Required)
