Job Description
Program Management lead managing resources and multiple projects at Carrier. Overseeing program execution, budget management, and team leadership in climate solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed program plans; managing resources and dependencies across products, platforms and regions, ensuring successful execution.
- Lead, motivate and mentor program and project teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor program and project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including team members, senior leadership and executives.
- Identify potential risks or issues and develop mitigation strategies and corrective action plans to ensure program/project success.
- Perform project quality checks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure CST project management standards are maintained.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including program plans, reports, proposals, change requests and meeting minutes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in project or program management
- 3+ years of experience in software development and release train engineering
- Strong program leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management processes (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, Kanban, etc.)
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong team management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to interact constructively with diverse teams, including international
- Strong project management tool knowledge and practical application experience
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and release train process
