Job Description
Senior Network Automation Engineer building Runbooks, Qapps, Dataviews, and integrations. Enabling enterprise and MSP customers to automate network operations with NetBrain’s no-code platform.
Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with customers to identify high-impact automation opportunities.
- Contribute to the evolution of network operations automation for global enterprises and MSPs.
- Lead customers in identifying high-impact automation targets through analysis of ITSM data.
- Analyze customer network technologies, existing playbooks, and design documents to create automation solutions.
- Train and develop customer engineers to continue automating on the NetBrain platform.
- Architect and create automation for critical network operations tasks using Runbooks, Qapps, Dataviews, and integrations.
- Engage with vendor partnerships and research public-domain knowledge to create automation content.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- United States Citizenship
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, network engineering, network automation, or related roles.
- Solid understanding of common network tools including Network Monitoring, Incident Management, Log Analysis, etc.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong attention to detail and quality, with a commitment to delivering reliable and efficient solutions.
- Ability to travel as needed for customer engagements and workshops.
- Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
- Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.
