Job Description

Senior paralegal supporting Rackspace Technology’s litigation and employment legal matters. Coordinating e-discovery, legal holds, case management, counsel, and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director, Legal – Litigation and Employment and Corporate Counsel across litigation and employment matters
  • Manage intake, case management, deadlines, and key dates throughout the matter lifecycle
  • Coordinate e-discovery, document collection, and document review with outside counsel and internal stakeholders
  • Administer the legal hold process and monitor compliance
  • Prepare materials for mediations, arbitrations, and hearings
  • Assist with claims, demand letters, administrative complaints, law enforcement requests, subpoenas, and third-party requests
  • Maintain case management and matter tracking systems and monitor the Service of Process portal
  • Support document retention, record-keeping, employment agreements, policy documents, and employee handbook rollouts
  • Coordinate outside counsel scheduling, filings, invoices, and budgets
  • Support reductions in force and create quarterly litigation reports for the CFO and auditors
  • Manage responses to Whistleblower hotline reports
  • Assist with professional-fee budgeting and forecasting, collections, settlement agreements, and corporate annual filing information
  • Provide general administrative and organizational support to the Litigation and Employment team

Requirements:

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of paralegal experience supporting litigation and/or employment matters at a law firm and/or in-house legal department
  • Working knowledge of e-discovery processes and legal hold administration
  • Experience with case/matter management systems such as Legal Tracker, Gavel, or similar
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of matters simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a complex organization and cover other team members as needed
