Job Description
Senior Product Designer shaping product strategy and customer experiences for Kaufland’s international online marketplaces. Driving research-led design across interdisciplinary product teams.
Responsibilities:
- Influence the product and shape product strategy based on research and data
- Identify customer needs and problems worth solving
- Break down large problems into simple solutions and drive them from concept through completion
- Pragmatically scope design work, selecting quick prototypes or deeper architectural rigor as appropriate
- Partner equally with the Product Manager on product discovery
- Measure design impact on product success
- Create a unified, end-to-end experience with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Analysts across teams
- Test designs through customer interviews and usability testing
- Champion user experience across the organization with clear, evidence-based design rationale
- Raise design quality across the organization
- Collaborate with the internal Product Design practice
Requirements:
- Extensive experience designing digital products, including information architecture, visual design, and interaction design
- Experience in an e-commerce environment is ideal
- Proven track record working in interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to effectively leverage AI and no-code tools to streamline the design process
- Ability to create prototypes and iterate quickly using qualitative and quantitative user research methods
- Familiarity with product discovery techniques, including usability labs and A/B testing
- Ability to think holistically about product strategy and vision
- Ability to align user needs with strategic business goals
- Proficiency using data-driven KPIs and strategic OKRs
- Fluent in English (C1)
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment
