Job Description
Senior Product Designer leading user-centered design for a digital insurance platform. Collaborating with teams to create innovative solutions and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring high-quality designs and user-centered experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define product vision, and drive design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas and concepts
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
- Listen, observe and understand the pain points and root causes. Know and empathize with every customer thoroughly. Care to help ease the burden of others
- Propose best long-term solutions and deliver value ASAP.
- Understand all active flows for every offering, on all interfaces
Requirements:
- Strong portfolio showcasing your past work and design thinking process
- History of discovery and ideation and aligning the group around a vision and approach
- Proven track record of designing completely new experiences and end-to-end features, and working with product teams to ship successful products
- Strong product mindset with experience working closely with product teams—understanding trade-offs, prioritizing impact, and focusing on delivering meaningful user and business value
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience leading design projects or teams, with the ability to guide and inspire others
- Experience in a high growth Agile environment
- Experience in Figma is required
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail
- Understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable but not mandatory
