Job Description

Senior Product Manager focusing on School Bus video solutions at Safe Fleet. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers and other customer facing teams to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to define product requirements and roadmaps
  • Maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the School Bus market
  • Define and document product requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business goals, engineering capacity and market opportunities
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software and hardware products
  • Drive product launches, including go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and sales enablement
  • Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • MBA is a plus
  • Hands-on experience (8+years) as a Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably with both HW and SW experience
  • Proven results in working directly with customers and delivering strong business results
  • Experience in mobile products and solutions, preferable in Passenger transportation markets
  • Experience in working with technology vendors and partners to create uniform solutions and integrations
  • Deep understanding of product development processes and methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to translate emerging customer needs into product requirements
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple teams and locations
