Job Description
Senior Project Manager delivering CCTV, access control, alarms, and perimeter security systems for commercial construction clients. Managing complex projects, commissioning, budgets, schedules, and client handover.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of large-scale, complex Electronic Security Systems projects across the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction
- Lead delivery of physical security systems by managing implementation, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and quality standards
- Deliver and integrate CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection alarm, and perimeter security systems
- Apply construction sequencing knowledge to identify, qualify, quantify, and communicate construction-related risks
- Collaborate in design reviews and support accurate field documentation
- Develop schedules and project baselines; identify and communicate deviations and client impacts
- Coordinate field verification of prospective work sites, quality control, readiness confirmation, and site-condition documentation
- Monitor project budgets, costs, margins, financial risks, and corrective actions
- Manage client relationships, expectations, communications, and satisfaction
- Coordinate stakeholder activities for system programming, testing, final checkout, commissioning, and client handover
- Partner with the site supervisor to establish and drive work plans and schedules
- Manage punch lists after substantial completion and ensure timely resolution of outstanding tasks
- Facilitate project turnover and training sessions with clients and the service team
- Provide support, problem-solving, and resource coordination to team members
Requirements:
- Candidates should have Electronic Security Services Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction trades and settings or experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
- Proven ability to follow repeatable processes and participate in Constant Process Improvement (CPI)
- Experience delivering waterfall schedules to a fixed delivery date while monitoring quality and profitability
- Experience in a client-facing role with a pleasant professional demeanor
- Strong technical abilities and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience working with or working for Enterprise-level clients
- Understanding of when and how to implement Agile methodologies within a waterfall program
- Solid understanding of PMP methodologies and best practices
- Travel up to 25% of the time is required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in their state of residence
- Project Management experience with large, complex technical projects within an at-scale program (preferred)
- Experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS) (preferred)
- Certified Security Project Manager – CSPM (preferred)
- PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (preferred)
