Job Description
Account Manager overseeing Industrial client relationships for GE Vernova. Building operational to executive level relationships in the electricity market across multiple states.
Responsibilities:
- Function as the key point of contact for relationships both internally and externally, from field personnel through to the executive team
- Serve as a conduit for detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how GE’s products and services deliver added value to the customer
- Develop and lead the specific account strategy for these key accounts, focused on maintaining existing business and growing our footprint across the Grid Solutions portfolio
- Manage multiple sales channels, facilitate support from the business to enable channels to generate
- Prospect, qualify and develop sales leads on target market segments
- Identify prospects and create new sales opportunities
- Meet and/or exceed annual commercial order intake and margin targets
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Years of direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- At least 10 years of experience in electrical/ Industrial Market sales or product business role
- Experience developing and executing successful growth strategies
- Ability to interact & function cooperatively with multiple stakeholders and customers
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
