Job Description
Senior Manager of Sales responsible for leisure segment's success, collaborating with sales and revenue management teams at Hyatt. Focused on strategic planning and mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic leisure sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Identify and drive new business opportunities across leisure segments, including FIT, wholesale, consortia, and tour operators.
- Analyze market trends, competitive data, and performance metrics to inform strategy and optimize results.
- Ensure alignment of property-level strategies with regional and corporate commercial priorities.
- Serve as a mentor and strategic partner to the on-property Director of Sales, ensuring alignment with Hyatt’s commercial strategies.
- Provide coaching and guidance to strengthen leadership capability, decision-making, and execution.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing sales culture.
- Partner closely with Revenue Management to align pricing, inventory, and demand strategies to maximize total hotel revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key leisure accounts and industry partners.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for the leisure segment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience, preferably within hospitality and leisure segments.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or supporting senior sales leaders (e.g., Director of Sales level).
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles and hotel distribution channels.
- Experience preparing and supporting ownership presentations preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field, or equivalent experience.
