Job Description
Senior SEO Manager leading SEO strategy, client growth, team development, and P&L support at Acadia, an elite digital growth platform for mid-market companies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic vision, roadmaps, and measurement plans for client engagements
- Develop SEO program forecasts for current and prospective clients
- Build and maintain relationships with assigned accounts within the agency and client organizations
- Lead client workstreams and internal initiatives using project management tools
- Promote SEO successes and advocate recommendations to stakeholders
- Orchestrate in-person and virtual client visits and trainings
- Oversee consistent application of standards and contribute to new deliverables
- Directly manage team members, set expectations, and review performance
- Ensure the team has necessary skills, training, and resources
- Collaborate across departments to develop new products and innovate existing ones
- Author thought leadership pieces and expand relationships across departments
- Foster collaboration between SEO and other business units
- Develop and present internal and external training sessions
- Participate significantly in sales pitches
- Scope projects and create statements of work and addendums for SEO services
- Assist with SEO P&L oversight, including revenue tracking, expense management, and forecasting
Requirements:
- 3+ years of SEO experience, including exposure to content strategy, web development, and off-site platforms like YouTube
- Ability to persuade others through logical and compelling arguments backed by real data and illustrative examples
- Strong self-governance and self-organization, with willingness to ask for help
- Excellent communication skills through writing, speaking, and visual presentations in PowerPoint and Google Slides
- Advanced experience with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog and Semrush
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
- Experience using Google Analytics
- Experience using Looker Studio
