Job Description

Senior Software Engineering Manager at Command|Link, focusing on building, scaling, and leading global engineering teams in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and scale distributed engineering teams across regions, ensuring consistency in quality, culture, and communication.
  • Drive a performance-driven playbook — setting clear goals, metrics, and accountability frameworks that help teams deliver with speed and confidence.
  • Mentor and coach engineers and team leads, helping them grow into strong technical and people leaders.
  • Create a culture of trust, innovation, and continuous improvement across diverse, international teams.
  • Lead technical strategy and roadmap development, partnering closely with product, design, and operations to align on global priorities.
  • Implement scalable processes for code quality, delivery, and system reliability as we expand into new markets.
  • Stay hands-on enough to guide technical direction, architectural decisions, and engineering best practices.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organization.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, ideally in SaaS or high-growth, remote-first environments
  • Proven experience building and leading distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures
  • A strong people-first leadership approach — you know how to inspire, mentor, and retain top talent globally
  • Deep understanding of modern software development, with experience across PHP, React, and Python or similar frameworks
  • Strong operational mindset — skilled at setting measurable goals and building scalable engineering processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s a plus)
