Job Description
Senior Solutions Architect at D-Wave building quantum optimisation solutions for customer applications. Collaborating with teams to deliver business value through quantum computing technology.
Responsibilities:
- Build customer applications on the D-Wave quantum computer and internal tools
- Ensure successful delivery of projects to achieve business value for customers
- Communicate capabilities with customers and ask probing questions
- Gather requirements on customer use cases
- Build and maintain relationships with leaders across various groups within D-Wave
- Organize, prepare, and present technical information in a clear and effective manner
Requirements:
- Masters, PhD, or equivalent in Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical field preferred
- 5+ years experience with Python
- Knowledge of NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Networkx
- Experienced working directly with external customers
- Experienced using leading optimisation tools (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of mathematical modeling and optimisation solution techniques
- Experience with version control software such as Git
- Proven record of successful on-time delivery of projects
