Job Description
Senior Solutions Consultant supporting Direct and Channel Sales teams in B2B payments at AvidXchange. Collaborating with clients for optimal payment solutions and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Direct and Channel sales teams and their prospective clients to understand business needs, present tailored invoice and payment solutions demonstrations articulating the value of our offerings.
- Join joint calls with the Account Executives to guide solution discovery, technical deep dives, and implementation planning.
- Partner closely with internal product, sales, and technical teams to address partner and client requirements, feedback, and opportunities.
- Stay current on our product portfolio, market trends, and competitor offerings to provide insightful recommendations and strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and problem-solver for Direct and Channel Sales teams and clients, proactively resolving obstacles to drive positive outcomes.
- Attend Industry events and Webinars professionally representing AvidXchange to prospects, customers and partners.
Requirements:
- 5+ years relevant experience -- ideally in a consultative solution consulting, pre-sales, or technical sales role, preferably in B2B payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Exceptional consultative selling and relationship management abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts in business terms -- specifically in training and sales capacities.
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork capabilities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Fluency or strong proficiency in accounting processes, back office systems and best practices for automation.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with payment platforms, APIs, and software solutions; ability to engage in technical discussions.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 15-20% domestic travel may be required.
