Job Description
Join Salesforce as a Solution Engineer addressing marketing challenges with technology solutions. Collaborate with teams to deliver tailored Marketing Cloud solutions to customers in South Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Help customers solve digital marketing challenges by connecting business needs with scalable technology solutions across the MarTech landscape
- Work closely with Account Executives, customers, and internal technical teams to design and demonstrate solutions based on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data360 (CDP)
- Support customers in evaluating and improving their marketing technology setup
- Deliver clear and relevant product demonstrations and build lightweight prototypes
- Contribute to solution discussions around integrations, APIs, data flows
- Participate in discovery sessions to capture business and technical requirements
- Partner with sales, solution engineering, and customer success teams to support opportunities
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role such as Solution Engineering, Digital Marketing, or technical consulting
- Fluency in English is required
- Good understanding of the MarTech ecosystem
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data360 (CDP) concepts and adjacent marketing technologies is highly valued
- Structured and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze requirements
- Experience in B2C or digitally mature industries such as Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel, Media, or Financial Services is beneficial
