Job Description
Senior Solutions Consultant leading complex Atlassian Cloud migrations for enterprise clients at Oxalis. Engaging in pre-sales activities and providing technical advisory throughout the migration process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Atlassian Cloud migration engagements for enterprise customers, from assessment and planning through execution and stabilization.
- Design migration strategies for Jira and Confluence using tools such as Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) and Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA).
- Assess complex Atlassian environments, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Marketplace apps and custom configurations, workflows, permissions, automations, and integrations.
- Analyze and rationalize apps, customizations, and integrations as part of cloud readiness.
- Leverage strong SQL and data analysis skills to validate data integrity, migration outcomes, and reporting accuracy.
- Assess and redesign integrations to cloud-native patterns using REST APIs, webhooks, and automation.
- Communicate migration risks, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading enterprise Atlassian Cloud migrations.
- Deep hands-on experience with Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) and Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA).
- Strong expertise in Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence administration and configuration.
- Strong experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, Java), and the use of lightweight data tooling (e.g., SQLite3, Postgres) for data manipulation.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols and tools such as HTTP, ssh, DNS, security certs.
- Familiarity with identity provider platforms (IDP’s) such as Entra and Okta.
- Experience working with large-scale Jira and Confluence instances (high user counts, large datasets, complex configurations).
- Proven experience as a regular user of generative AI tools (such as Open AI, Anthropic, Google or comparable platforms) and a positive belief in their ability to augment human capability and meaningfully improve how work is performed.
- Atlassian Certified Professional or Associate certifications and experience with Atlassian Cloud governance, security, and compliance considerations preferred.
- Experience rationalizing Marketplace apps and customizations during cloud migrations.
- Background working with regulated or compliance-heavy environments (e.g., public sector, healthcare, life sciences, aerospace and defense).
- Experience supporting hybrid or phased cloud migration strategies.
