Job Description
Lead development of cost-to-serve capability while fostering cross-functional collaboration at Medtronic. Drive alignment and insights across Finance, IT, and Service Delivery to enhance healthcare access.
Responsibilities:
- Develops long-range objectives and strategic plans for corporation or major division
- Scans environment for business opportunities
- Maintains surveillance over market, and may perform financial analysis of acquisition candidates
- Develops and monitors profitability, productivity, and growth targets
- Prepares acquisition proposals, recommends financial and non-financial strategic objectives and alternatives
- Implements and maintains strategic and operational plans
- Plans and coordinates business reviews, resource allocations, organization structures, and financial analysis
- Define the data model and methodology for cost-to-serve
- Establish initial manual frameworks to bridge current system gaps
- Create scalable structure aligned to future system harmonization
- Consolidate fragmented data across Finance, Service Ops, and regional systems
- Translate raw data into actionable insights
- Drive alignment across Finance, IT, Service Delivery, and Business Units
- Identify and resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, and ownership issues
- Lead coordination of master data improvement efforts
- Develop critical insights into current sources and drivers of SOGL across regions, products, and service activities
- Define clear metrics, baselines, and reduction targets for SOGL in partnership with Finance and Service leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience, or Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- “Structured chaos” operator – thrives in ambiguity
- Deep Excel / data wrangling / analytical thinking
- Ability to move between Executive strategy conversations
- Hands-on data problem solving
- Strong influence skills in a global matrix organization
- MDT knowledge & experience a bonus
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
