Job Description

ServiceNow SAM Developer designing and optimizing software asset management solutions for CMS. Collaborating closely with teams to drive compliance and cost optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable SAM solutions leveraging out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities
  • Translate business and product requirements into technical designs aligned with platform best practices
  • Ensure solutions and application are aligned with Common Service Data Model (CSDM), CMDB architecture, ITAM/SAM data models
  • Collaborate with architects to define integration patterns and system architecture
  • Configure and develop within ServiceNow SAM, including software models and normalization support
  • Develop using platform-native tools including Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and IntegrationHub
  • Implement and optimize advanced SAM Pro capabilities such as Publisher Packs, Reclamation workflows, SaaS usage integrations
  • Support automation of license reconciliation and compliance tracking
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance related to SAM processes and data volumes
  • Work within Agile/Scrum environment to deliver incremental value

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience
  • Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow SAM
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, APIs)
  • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub)
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and ITAM modules
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
