Job Description
ServiceNow ATF Tester and Developer enhancing system reliability and efficiency through automation. Join GDIT's team supporting the Healthcare General Ledger Accounting System at CMS.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts for testing ServiceNow functionalities, integrations, and customizations.
- Execute ATF scripts for patching, version upgrades, and testing agile-developed stories to ensure platform stability and reliability.
- Write and maintain test-driven development (TDD) use cases in collaboration with ServiceNow developers and project teams.
- Troubleshoot issues during ATF execution and re-run scripts after fixes are applied to verify resolution.
- Participate in agile sprint ceremonies and proactively identify test requirements and scenarios for user stories.
- Create and deliver detailed testing documentation, including defect reports, test data, and results analysis.
- Research and implement best practices and enhancements to ATF processes, improving automation coverage and efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and ATF advancements to drive innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow ATF development, quality assurance, and automated testing methodologies (a must)
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow features, workflows, and capabilities, including customization via scripting (e.g., JavaScript, APIs).
- Proficiency in automating test cases for patch testing, upgrades, and Agile story development using ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Strong understanding of test-driven development (TDD), with experience writing use cases to align with business and user requirements.
- Ability to create reusable ATF test cases and suites to enhance testing efficiency.
- Proven capability to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Experience applying Agile development methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and creating tests for user stories.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to simplify and convey testing recommendations to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to effectively manage multiple testing initiatives.
