Job Description
Site Operator for YLEM Power responsible for attending to energy infrastructure equipment failures. Ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and health and safety compliance at energy production facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Attendance to allocated site/s to respond quickly to equipment operation failures
- Day to day operation and record keeping for infrastructure, plant and equipment
- Housekeeping of all mechanical, thermal and electrical plant at energy production facilities
- Fault diagnosis, location and rectification
- Breakdown response for generating assets with minimum outages
- Assistance with call out cover to remotely respond to asset and equipment failure
- Commitment to Health, Safety Quality and Environmental practices
- Adherence to Lone Working procedures and inspections
- Ensuring site and equipment cleanliness
- Compliance and implementation of company protection procedures
- Managing time effectively
- Continuous enhancement of skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Experience or interest in either a mechanical, or electrical field
- Experience or interest in working with generation assets (reciprocating engines)
- Computer literate
- Health and Safety Awareness and familiar with of H&S Regulations
- Driving license and own transportation
