Job Description
Tipper Operator operating and maintaining landfill equipment for WM, North America's leading environmental solutions provider. Performing utility duties in garage, plant, and outdoor field conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the Landfill Tipper in compliance with company operating procedures
- Verify that the Landfill Tipper is in working order, including tooling and safety mechanisms
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning activities
- Perform other utility duties as required
- Work in inside garage, shop, or gas plant conditions and outside conditions involving inclement weather, heat, and humidity
Requirements:
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to operate a Landfill Tipper in compliance with company operating procedures
- Ability to verify tooling and safety mechanisms are in working order
- Ability to perform daily maintenance and cleaning activities
- Ability to strictly comply with safety rules and protocols
- Successful completion of applicable drug and alcohol testing, including pre-employment screening, post-incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing
- Must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required for business air travel or federal property access
