Job Description
Social Media & Community Manager growing Pencil's Generative AI advertising SaaS community. Connecting social content, user engagement and community sign-ups to marketing pipeline growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own Pencil's social presence and run its customer community end to end
- Own the social calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, X and YouTube, including planning, writing, publishing and reporting
- Manage LinkedIn content for the CEO and COO, including drafting posts, coordinating approvals and tracking performance
- Own and run the Pencil community calendar
- Welcome new members, spark and moderate discussions, and coordinate webinars and product demo sessions
- Turn community wins, member spotlights and webinar moments into social content
- Turn social interest into community sign-ups
- Brief designers on visuals and video and provide feedback to keep content on time and on brand
- Track engagement, follower growth, community activity and sign-ups
- Report monthly on performance and recommended changes
- Monitor comments, mentions and direct messages and route product questions or leads to the appropriate people
- Report to the Head of Marketing and collaborate with design, customer success and product teams
Requirements:
- 3+ years in social media, community management or both, ideally in B2B SaaS or marketing technology
- Excellent written English
- Ability to write in a brand voice and an executive's voice, keeping them distinct
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn as a B2B channel
- Experience running an online community, including moderation, programming and member growth
- Comfort with analytics and acting on numerical insights
- Organised and self-directed; able to manage a multi-channel calendar independently
- Familiarity with AI tools for marketing, or genuine curiosity about the space
- Experience with HubSpot, Webflow, Figma or basic video editing is a nice to have
