Job Description
Social Media Manager responsible for content creation and engagement across platforms for a Canadian recruitment agency connecting businesses with remote staff in the Philippines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, create, and schedule engaging social media content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others.
- Design visually appealing posts using **Canva** to ensure brand consistency and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to increase video content creation and multimedia posts to improve engagement.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Create, edit, and optimize content (text, graphics, videos) using **Canva** and other design tools.
- Manage the posting schedule and ensure timely content delivery across platforms.
- Track social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and conversions, and provide insights for improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and algorithms to adjust strategies as needed.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media channels.
- Perform social media audits to assess the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 year of experience working in a social media management role at a company.
- Proven ability to create and manage content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strong knowledge and experience using **Canva** to create posts, graphics, and other design elements.
- Experience using social media management and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or SocialPilot.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling and engaging posts.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for social media trends and audience engagement.
- Experience with basic analytics tools to track social media performance (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.).
