Job Description

Subcontract Administrator II coordinating procurement and subcontracting activities for government and commercial programs. Involves compliance support and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide cradle to grave administrative support for the preparation, issuance, and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and subcontract agreements
  • Assist in tracking subcontractor and internal deliverables, ensuring compliance with contract terms, schedules, and budgets
  • Maintain and update procurement files, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and government regulations
  • Support invoice review and reconciliation processes, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors as needed
  • Participate in subcontract negotiations alongside senior staff to develop terms and conditions
  • Assist in preparing reports, metrics, and presentations to support team objectives and decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address subcontractor issues and support program needs
  • Perform additional duties as required by senior subcontracts administrators and management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in procurement, subcontracts, or supply chain management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of procurement and government contracting principles (FAR/DFARS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
