Job Description
Supervisor role in Pharmacy Operations at Fuze Health, overseeing a team of Consulting Pharmacists providing telephonic patient consultations. Ensuring operational excellence and quality patient support in a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of Consulting Pharmacists, overseeing daily operations, productivity, and performance metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Establish and implement reporting requirements, analyze operational data, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights that support continuous process enhancements
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs, coaching initiatives, and quality assurance processes that support team development and operational excellence
- Forecast staffing needs based on operational demands and prescription volume to maintain appropriate coverage and service levels
- Manage performance expectations, conduct ongoing performance evaluations, and provide training, mentorship, and coaching to direct reports
- Develop and maintain expertise in pharmacy and communication platforms
- Perform frontline pharmacist responsibilities as needed to support prescription volume, maintain staffing coverage, and ensure continuity of patient care
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and leadership teams to align operational goals, improve workflows, and support organizational initiatives
Requirements:
- Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in your state of residence
- Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the applicable Board of Pharmacy
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Demonstrated experience hiring, managing, coaching, and mentoring direct reports
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient consultation workflows, and healthcare technology systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to analyze operational data, manage performance metrics, and drive process improvements
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and lead teams in a fast-paced remote environment
