Job Description
Supply Chain & Procurement Manager optimizing procurement, inventory and international logistics for Sunrise Group’s sleep-health and medical-device operations. Managing US 3PLs, suppliers, customs and shipping costs.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and control the flow of materials, components and finished devices across manufacturing and clinic operations
- Plan inventory and optimize stock levels, carrying costs and storage costs
- Select and implement inventory management tooling and reporting cadence
- Define and own inventory KPIs
- Build and maintain the master production/supply plan with the manufacturing team
- Identify and escalate supply risks and maintain dual-sourcing or contingency plans
- Coordinate kitting, fulfillment and returns for HST devices, PAP machines and accessories
- Manage international logistics for customer orders across the EU, UK, US and Australia
- Own landed shipping costs, evaluate carriers and freight forwarders, and renegotiate terms
- Manage Incoterms, customs classification, denied-party/export screening and other trade-compliance obligations
- Model and reduce customs/duties exposure on EU-manufactured devices entering the US
- Report shipping cost per device/shipment to the executive team
- Manage US 3PL relationships, contracts, SLAs, performance reviews, RFPs and escalations
- Manage the operational interface between 3PLs and internal systems, including order flow, inventory synchronization and returns processing
- Negotiate and manage procurement contracts for raw materials, components and clinic finished goods
- Manage vendor selection, pricing negotiations and supplier contract terms
- Maintain supplier performance scorecards and drive renewal/renegotiation cycles
- Execute supplier qualification, approved supplier list maintenance and quality agreements with Quality/Regulatory
- Own lot/UDI traceability from raw materials through finished devices and shipped units
- Document procurement and logistics activities for inspection and audit readiness
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality/Regulatory, Finance, Dreem Health clinical operations, Customer/Patient Care, freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PLs and hardware suppliers
Requirements:
- 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations management, including direct ownership of inventory planning and carrier/3PL relationships
- Demonstrated track record of reducing shipping/logistics cost at a company shipping physical goods internationally, ideally EU↔US
- Experience managing 3PL relationships in the US: contracting, SLA management, performance review
- Working knowledge of import/customs processes for goods moving from the EU into the international (US, UK, AU)
- Hands-on experience with an ERP/MRP system (demand planning, inventory, production scheduling modules) as a super-user or functional owner, not just an end user
- Comfort building process and tooling from a low-maturity baseline rather than optimizing an existing mature system
- Full professional fluency in English
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharma, or similarly regulated hardware) with working knowledge of ISO 13485, EU MDR, and/or cGMP as applied to supply chain and procurement
- Direct procurement/purchase-contract negotiation experience with hardware manufacturers or raw material suppliers
- Experience with reverse logistics / return programs
- French language skills are preferred
