Job Description
Surgical IOL Manager overseeing IOL portfolio and driving surgical sales in Queensland. Supporting surgical facilities and collaborating with sales teams to drive business growth in eye care.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting surgical facilities and overseeing the overall IOL portfolio.
- Showcasing expertise in our products’ benefits and differentiation vs. competitive products by providing high technical consultancy in assigned accounts.
- Working with Account Managers, Tender and Pricing teams to provide the right customer solutions.
- Driving total IOL revenue and market share in the territory.
- Accelerating PCIOL (Presbyopia Correcting IOLs) penetration.
- Managing tender requirements working with internal teams.
- Developing new business with customers to achieve sales targets.
- Maintaining and optimizing existing relationships with key customers.
- Providing feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics, eye-care
- 2-3 years of experience in customer facing roles within surgical environment or other industries
- Strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures, product technology, and selling to the medical profession
- Demonstrable track record developing and executing business plans, goal setting and team building, performance management
- Strong desire and ability to learn technical knowledge
- Understanding of the MTAA code of practice.
