Job Description
Technical Writer and Editor for Federal Electronic Health Records Modernization program at GDIT. Responsible for reviewing and editing technical documents, proposals, and compliance materials while fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and editing project deliverables such as technical documents, proposals, policies, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assisting in the preparation of documents and supporting the development of contract deliverables, proposals, and reports
- Review and edit deliverable content for Section 508 accessibility compliance
- Writing and editing functional descriptions, user manuals, special reports, and any other customer deliverables
- Conducting research and ensuring the use of proper technical terminology
- Preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications
- Preparing reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with EHR (Electronic Health Records)
- Proposal writing experience
- Experience with 508 technical writing
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Knowledge of Federal documentation standards, processes, and 508 compliancy
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the year
