Job Description
Territory Sales Manager driving ABB Robotics’ industrial automation sales growth across Ohio. Managing account strategies, customer relationships, pricing, pipelines, and territory development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the account strategy focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage resolution of specific customer problems
- Provide input on market price developments and tendencies
- Contribute to ABB Robotics’ market share growth in Ohio
- Support and collaborate with ABB Integrators, Distributors, and End-Users in Ohio
- Lead development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions
- Understand key business drivers, significant and emerging business risks, and translate them into impacts and opportunities for ABB
- Participate in developing sales strategies for accounts through current business and long-term customer plans
- Define sales targets, monitor competitors’ activity, and ensure appropriate response strategies are implemented
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Business, or related field, and 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within industrial automation, robotics, or collaborative robotics; or other combination of degree and work experience, i.e. Associate's degree and 10+ years, high school diploma and 15+
- Excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams
- Deep experience and knowledge in environments core to the Electronics Industries manufacturing and production environments
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage a sales pipeline
- Willingness to develop new business and travel daily within the state specified territory
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate value-based selling strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences desired
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
