Job Description

Territory Sales Manager commercializing AngioSafe catheter technology across New York City Metro. Driving medical-device sales, clinical support, account growth, and physician relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales calls to healthcare professionals to promote AngioSafe medical devices
  • Build, cultivate, and maintain relationships with stakeholders at hospitals, OBLs, and ASCs
  • Provide product information, demonstrations, and clinical support
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions to leadership
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, product innovations, clinical developments, and competitors
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities
  • Attend medical conferences and industry events to develop relationships with customers and key opinion leaders
  • Commercialize AngioSafe’s catheter technology across the New York City Metro territory

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • 7–10 years of proven medical device sales experience, preferably in peripheral or coronary interventions or endovascular markets
  • In-depth knowledge of vascular anatomy, PAD, CTO, and procedural workflows
  • Established relationships within the NYC Metro market with interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and/or interventional radiologists strongly preferred
  • Experience navigating Value Analysis Committees (VACs) and supply chain
  • Ability to manage OBL, ASC, and hospital accounts
  • Demonstrated business acumen and consistent overachievement of sales quotas in capital and/or disposable medical device sales
  • Ability to execute strategic territory planning, identify high-potential accounts, and displace competitive products
  • Physician education and procedural case support experience in Cath Lab and/or OR settings
  • Ability to independently support procedures and guide physicians through live medical-device cases
  • Ability to train physicians and staff on device use and procedural integration
  • Strong troubleshooting aptitude during live cases
  • Ability to discuss device mechanism of action and clinical data with healthcare professionals
  • Experience with competitive economic selling, ROI modeling, and reimbursement knowledge
  • Ability to create multi-touch account penetration strategies involving physicians, administration, and supply chain
  • Understanding of wires, atherectomy, IVL, CTO crossing devices, balloons, and stents
  • Self-starter with a hunter mentality and ability to open new accounts
  • Resilience and effectiveness in long sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers
  • High-energy, credible presence in the lab and confidence interacting with KOLs
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally nationally
  • Team player who is coachable and committed to continued professional development
  • Ability to work independently and with inherent initiative
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
