Job Description
Territory Service Manager overseeing a field service team of 12 – 15 in the car wash industry. Managing operations, training, and customer relations for service excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage field service team of 12 – 15 employees
- Manages service team members in Southern Texas
- Manage scheduling and training of field service technicians and chemical delivery specialists
- Establish performance goals for designated team of technicians
- Coach and guide direct reports in safety compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, and continuing education in field operations
- Monitor and manage expenses, revenue, and margin targets
- Prepare and control operational budgets and inventory
- Communicate with customer and travel to assigned locations
- Act as primary point of resolution for escalating customer issues and/or complaints
- Monitor service metrics and KPIs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in field service
- Minimum of 3 years’ managing an electro-mechanical team
- Strong business acumen including understanding of P&L, financials and KPIs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong electrical-mechanical skill set
- Strategic thinker with proven track record in problem solving and analysis
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google
- Strong negotiation skills required
- Knowledge of carwash equipment preferred
- Overnight travel will be required
