Job Description
User Researcher owning mixed-methods studies for Maven Clinic’s virtual healthcare platform. Delivering consumer insights on GLP-1 care, trust, and conversion funnels for product and design teams.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with product and design to identify the questions worth answering and scope research that answers them
- Own the full study lifecycle, including research plans, participant recruiting, moderation, analysis, and synthesis
- Run qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, usability sessions, and surveys
- Choose the appropriate research method for each question
- Share crisp readouts with the working team and digestible takeaways with the broader organization
- Help define research tooling and processes, recommending what to adopt, drop, or change
Requirements:
- 5+ years of user research experience, including consumer products
- Experience designing and fielding surveys with sound methodology
- Skilled interviewing and moderation abilities
- Familiarity with AI-augmented research methods and tools
- Track record of running research end to end with minimal oversight, ideally as a contractor, consultant, or solo researcher
- Strong synthesis and communication skills to turn messy data into clear, decision-ready insights
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with weekly ship cycles
- Experience in healthcare, tele-health, or another trust-sensitive consumer space is a plus
- Experience researching subscription products or conversion funnels is a plus
- Experience establishing research practices or tooling at an early-stage team is a plus
- Active work authorization in the US required
