Job Description
VP of Application Development & Product Engineering for Rentokil, designing and scaling digital products for North American revenue growth. Leading technical architecture functions to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Full accountability for the development and lifecycle management of customer-facing platforms
- Establish and enforce elite engineering standards, including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automated testing
- Partner closely with Portfolio Governance and Business Stakeholders
- Own the Application, Platform, and Technical Architecture functions
- Direct the end-to-end release management lifecycle
- Proactively manage the technical health of the portfolio
- Drive the pragmatic adoption of emerging technologies
- Champion the operational resilience of the application portfolio
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and product delivery
- At least 7+ years in an executive leadership role managing large, distributed teams
- Demonstrated success in scaling customer-facing digital platforms
- Deep experience with modern cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and API management
- Proven record of leading Agile-at-scale (SAFe, Scrum, etc.)
