Job Description

Vice President of Product leading learning technology strategy for CeriFi's platforms. Responsible for defining product vision and leading a high-performing product team.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the long-term vision for CeriFi’s learning technology platforms (LMS, LXP, CMS).
  • Develop strategies to support multiple learning businesses (Exam Prep, Continuing Education, Certification) and diverse customer segments (individuals, enterprise clients, institutions).
  • Ensure platform evolution drives enhanced learner experience, measurable learner outcomes, administrative efficiency, and operational scalability.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation across platform capabilities, including leveraging AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies to personalize learning and improve outcomes.
  • Champion data-driven product decisions, using learner analytics, engagement metrics, and market insights to guide strategy and roadmap prioritization.
  • Own the product portfolio and roadmap across learning platforms.
  • Balance investment across learner experience, platform scalability, operational tooling, regulatory compliance, and new growth initiatives.
  • Establish metrics-driven prioritization frameworks aligned with business goals, learner outcomes, and engineering capacity.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering leadership to ensure platform architecture supports long-term product and AI-enabled innovation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing product management organization focused on platform delivery and learner impact.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop product managers capable of leading complex, data-driven platform initiatives.
  • Define accountability structures that empower teams to operate autonomously while remaining aligned to company strategy.
  • Ensure the organization operates with data-informed processes to continuously improve learner outcomes and platform performance.
  • Establish the product management operating model, including discovery, roadmap planning, requirements standards, cross-functional decision frameworks, and launch readiness processes.
  • Introduce structure and consistency into platform product development, enabling predictable delivery and measurable results.
  • Ensure decision-making clarity and well-defined roles across Engineering, Design, and Business teams.
  • Partner with Engineering, Content, Compliance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success leadership to align platform capabilities with organizational needs.
  • Represent platform strategy in executive planning, budgeting, and company-wide strategic discussions.
  • Ensure platform initiatives support learner outcomes, operational efficiency, and AI-enabled innovation.
  • Define and track KPIs across learner engagement, outcomes, platform adoption, operational efficiency, and revenue enablement.
  • Use data, customer feedback, and market insights to continuously refine product strategy and roadmap priorities.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate AI, adaptive learning, and advanced analytics to drive superior learning outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging trends in SaaS platforms, learning technology, and AI-driven education to guide platform evolution.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of product management experience, including leadership of product teams.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling SaaS or platform-based products.
  • Experience establishing product management processes, operating models, and roadmap governance.
  • Strong experience partnering with Engineering to deliver complex software platforms.
  • Data-driven and metrics-oriented, with a strong focus on learner outcomes and operational impact.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into product roadmaps.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Experience with learning platforms (LMS, LXP, CMS) or enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Experience leading platform product strategy supporting multiple product lines or customer segments.
  • Background in SaaS businesses with subscription revenue models.
  • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven industries.
  • Familiarity with professional education, certification, or credentialing ecosystems.
  • Understanding of AI, adaptive learning, and emerging technology trends in the education sector.
