Job Description
Regional oncology sales executive leading teams to grow Ambry Genetics’ laboratory revenue. Driving complex genetic diagnostic testing sales across North Central U.S. healthcare markets.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high-performing team of sales leadership and sales representatives
- Increase laboratory sales revenue and profitability through market penetration and promotion of Ambry's genetic diagnostic testing services and technology offerings
- Advocate the clinical and financial benefits of products to MDs, nurses, genetic counselors, laboratory staff, hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician offices
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
- Hire, develop, and maintain Account Executive and Area Director talent
- Create and implement effective team sales strategies
- Provide leadership through vision communication, active coaching, development, and corrective action
- Supervise through field visits and observations
- Maintain competitive knowledge and adjust sales strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders from other departments
- Own and close accounts
- Expand menu utilization in existing accounts
- Negotiate and manage contracts
- Develop and deliver presentations
- Host and assist with trade shows
- Manage customer data in the company CRM
- Help develop and lead company initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of leadership experience in laboratory services supporting clinicians and hospitals, or equivalent internal leadership experience within the organization
- Strong track record building and leading teams of sales leadership and sales reps
- Ability to sell technically complex products
- Expertise with demand creation in a large geography
- Strengths in networking and relationship development
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong time management skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com
- Open to and enjoy national travel (50%+ travel)
- Must reside in North Central USA
